DO NOT USE HS TRAVEL AND TOURS Actively advertised on here for Hajj & Umrah. Run by Hafiz Suleman Ukadia of xxx Communication great initially lots of Mashallah Alhamdulillah and all the Islamic niceties. I used them for Umrah 24th Dec - 6th Jan. Everything was going great, OK one of our hotels got changed last minute- I say changed loosely most likely not booked- Hafiz Saheb has a clever way bait & switch technique and then blames it on his Chamcha Tasawur of U-fly (b2b hotel booking agent) based in Madinah. Now the above was an issue, but in the grand scheme of things as I thought it was still a decent hotel albeit further away for my mother who struggles to get about (Maden Hotel- Zamzam pullman) the latter being a mile or so away as opposed to 200 yards from the women's entrance to Masjid Nabawi in Madinah. The real problem occurred when my flight got cancelled on the 6th of Jan (MED-JED - JED-LHR) no fault of HS travel, but once things went downhill they plummeted. Rescheduled for the 14th January with no recompense as the visa was a tour not an Umrah visa. On more than one occasion I asked him upon booking to make sure my Umrah visa was exactly that. He booked tour visas. ( I paid just shy of £10000 GBP for the 5 of us and was not short of the extra few hundred for the right visas) "But all my customers go on travel visas" he cried. But all your customers don't have cancelled flights and have to fork out another 2grand on hotels out their own pocket when it goes wrong (Ministry of Hajj and Umrah literally hug you onto the bus and into free accommodation if you have the right Visa) My flights I found once cancelled were booked on a group booking (I didn't go with a group) hence could not be changed on the day for another flight as it was a multiple PNR. Booked via another crook home and away travels. Other than literally cry on watsapp audio msg Hafiz saheb was as much use as a chocolate teapot (none) I have tried to reason with him to compensate me for his shambolic booking both on flights/visa (I'm not really pressing the last minute change of hotel in Madinah) The mere thought of doing the right thing makes his heart and hands tremble & plead poverty saying he hasn't got any money. This is not his first rodeo and has been in the game for 30 years. Excercise caution booking with HS Travel and tours as on the face of it your booking may look fine as it did with me, but Hafiz saheb is more than happy to leave you up a creek without a paddle & ask you to complain on twitter once your stuck at an airport for 5hrs. Purely a cost cutting excercise group booking tickets on a group you're not aware of or with and going for the cheapest visa and sticking a tenner on it for his trouble even though you asked for the proper visa. A religious man, Mashallah who knows the Holy book off by heart, but happy to put the ££ before the faith. La hawla wala quwata. 2K isn't life changing money, but the principle remains.
